Staff Training & Education

The Royal Hospital Donnybrook is committed to the provision of continuing professional education and training to enable staff to develop and maintain the knowledge, skills and competencies required to deliver high quality care to our residents and patients.  Informed by ongoing organisational learning needs analysis and individual professional development plans, clinical practice updates and in-service education sessions are provided by the Education Coordinator and specialist clinical staff. There are also opportunities for staff to pursue further education and training at third level.   

The hospital also has a mandatory training schedule in place to ensure compliance with statutory requirements around areas such as health and safety, safe food handling and fire safety.
