Services > Day Hospital

The Day Hospital provides a local, accessible service that aims to promote patient’s independence, health and well-being through the provision of multi-disciplinary day care services to people aged over 65 years old residing in their own homes.  All interventions are provided on a day basis (i.e., no in-patient or overnight stays).  This is undertaken by a multi-disciplinarily team consisting of medical and allied health professionals committed to rehabilitation, health education, and empowerment of the service users.

The Day Hospital provides an essential support network for patients and their families/care givers following a hospital inpatient stay.
