Specialist Stroke Rehabilitation

A specialist stroke consultant-led multidisciplinary team provides rehabilitation services for stroke patients. This specialised unit focuses on improvement of mobility, cognition and communication. The emphasis is on identifying problems affecting activities of daily living and mobility in the context of the smooth transition from hospital to living at home.

The Specialist Stroke Rehabilitation unit is an 18-bed unit for adult patients providing rehabilitation services for up to 12 weeks.
